Lingue moderne e traduzione per le relazioni internazionali (LMTRI
2010-11)
June 6, 2011: Lesson have ended and now it's time to think about the oral exam. For those students who came to lessons and produced coursework during the year, there is no written exam. For those students who did not attend or produce, and who still want to take the oral exams, there will be a written translation test on the first day of the oral exam of each of the two upcoming sessions (June 27 and July 18, 2011).
All students should book their oral exam on the usual website before the deadline (5 days before the first day of orals ) - look for Prof. Denis Gailor, of course. According to University policy, students who have not booked their oral exam before the deadline will not be admitted to the exam for that appello.
The oral exam will consist of three parts, covering the three projects we worked on this year:
A. the Wikileaks Phenomenon
B. Academic English and Phrasal Verbs (linguistic analysis and Stories 2, 3, 6, 8, and 9 from my book)
C. Translation + Talking about advertising
Coursework produced during the year will be taken into consideration for the final mark.
Below you will find a summary of the lessons, and the work you were required
to submit. You were to download the
materials listed below in the Downloads section. You were to consult the links listed in the Websites to Consult
section. The tasks assigned are listed below in the Homework
for Credit section.
